[Blindapple] Apple IIGS not talking.

I've tried all the things you've mentioned. It doesn't talk. I know the speakers are hooked up because that beep you talked about in an earlier message, I can hear it.
I don't know which operating system I'm running or anything like that though. Nick is not answering my Emails.

Hi,

Have you tried all your disks, and none of them talk?
Do you have a speaker hooked up to your Echo card? If it has a volume 
control, have you checked that?
If you got a bunch of disks, they should be actual disks, not disks with 
images on them. In fact, since a disk image is a byte-for-byte 
representation of an entire disk, and since disks always have some space 
reserved by the OS, a floppy disk cannot itself contain a disk image of its 
own size.
